Wild Plumb Campground

Wild Plumb Campground Overview

Wild Plum Campground is located in the North Yuba River area. This campground has 2 smaller loops that have paved site pads and interior paved roads. The larger upper loop has gravel site pads and roads. Some sites sit along the Hay Press Creek. Wildplum campground is located just one mile from the scenic and historic town of Sierra City. Fishing, hiking trails and hunting when in season are some of the activities in this area.

Wild Plum campground is located on Haypress Creek in the North Yuba River area at 4,400 feet. There are 47 campsites (21 of which can accommodate trailers). The two lower loops (1-19) have paved access and are much nicer for larger RV’s. The upper loop is gravel road and campsites appear to be intended for tent camping although a few would take RV’s. There is no site #5…it seems to have washed into Haypress Creek.
