Upper Soda Springs Campground Overview

Upper Soda Springs Campground is located in the Inyo National Forest in the eastern Sierra Nevada Mountains in the Red’s Meadow area along the San Joaquin River. The campground is located about 20 minutes to the community of Mammoth Lakes. The area is a popular destination to ski, fish, hike, bike, photograph and enjoy the spectacular scenery and wildlife of the Sierras. The town of Mammoth Lakes offers a variety of things to do including shopping, golfing, special events and other activities.

Upper Soda Springs Campground has 29 single-family (mixed-used) campsites located at an elevation of 7,800 feet along the San Joaquin River. The campground sits in a beautiful little valley among large and mature pine trees. Campsites have sun/shade and each have a food locker, table, fire ring and grill.
