Lower and Upper Grays Meadow Campground is situated along Independence Creek in the Onion Valley of the eastern Sierra Nevada.  It’s a very popular area for anglers, hikers and backpackers.  There is also an abundance of wildlife including black bear, mountain lions, deer and a variety of bird.  At 6,000 feet, you’ll enjoy spectacular views of the surrounding mountains.  Lower and Upper Grays Meadows campground have 52 sites with flush toilets and there is also a picnic area. Each campsite has a food locker, table, fire ring and grill.
