Horseshoe Meadows Equestrian Campground Overview
Horseshoe Meadows Equestrian Campground is located way up in the eastern Sierra Nevada mountains at 10,000 feet. The campground has 10 large campsites with horse corrals. There are also 18 walk-in tent sites and 12 at large (walk-in) tent sites. Horseshoe Meadows is also the base camp for hikers and horseback riders up to Cottonwood Lakes and Mt. Langley (one of the California ’14ers’). The trails offer spectacular scenery of the Sierra Nevada mountains. The campground has vault toilets and each site has a table, food locker, fire ring and grill.
