Gold Ledge Campground
Gold Ledge Campground Overview
Gold Ledge campground is one of several USFS campgrounds along the Upper Kern River and offers a great place to enjoy many outdoor recreational activities including fishing, hiking, biking, kayaking, tubing and river rafting. The campground is also a few miles from Lake Isabella where you can enjoy a wide variety of water sports including swimming, water skiing, jet skiing, windsurfing, kayaking and fishing. The town of Kernville is also just a few miles from the campground and has several restaurants, shops, stores, rafting outfitters and other facilities. You can also drive about 20 miles up the road and see some giant Sequoia trees. The campground has 37 campsites with some right along the river bank. Each site has a table, fire ring and grill. Most campsites have little shade, but a few trees offer some shade to a few sites. The campground has water and vault toilets.
