Fairview Campground Overview
Fairview Campground is one of several located in the Sequoia National Forest along the Upper Kern River. The campground is located about 16 miles up river from the town of Kernville on Sierra Way. It’s a great place to experience a wide variety of outdoor activities including fishing, rafting, kayaking, hiking, biking, and wildlife viewing. Lake Isabella (about 19 miles from camp) offers even more water sport recreation including boating, fishing, swimming and other water sports. Fairview Campground is at 3,500 feet and Oak, Cottonwood and Juniper trees offer some decent shade to some of the 55 campsites. The maximum RV/trailer length is 45 feet (no hookups). The campground has vault toilets and each campsite has a table, fire ring and grill.
