Lower Pines Campground Overview

Lower Pines is one of the more popular campgrounds located in the Yosemite Valley. The campground has 60 campsites for tents and RVs/Trailers up to 30 feet.  The Merced River flows right along the campground and there area  few sites right on the river.  There are many outdoor activities here including fishing, rafting, hiking, backpacking, rock climbing, horse back riding, photography, wildlife viewing, cross-country skiing and much more.  Yosemite National Park also has many historic sites, museums and ranger programs.
