Forks Campground Overview
Located at 3,400 feet, Forks Campground at Bass Lake is set among a heavily forested hillside just above Bass Lake. Wildlife viewing includes golden and bald eagles which make their home in the area, bears, deer and a variety of other animals. Bass Lake offers great fishing, boating, swimming, canoeing, kayaking and other water sports. There is a boat ramp and beach at Bass Lake, as well as restaurants, bait shops and other stores. Nearby hiking is also popular on trails such as Willow Creek, Goat Mountain and Spring Cove. This campground is very busy in the summer so make your reservations early. There are 30 campsites each with a food locker, table, fire ring and grill. The campground has flush toilets.
