Dorst Creek Campground

Dorst Creek Campground Overview

Dorst Creek is one of the more popular campgrounds in Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Parks. The large campground has 202 campsites and is located at an elevation of 6,700 feet.  The big (pun intended) attraction at the park are the groves of giant Sequoia trees.  There are numerous walking and hiking trails, a visitor center, nightly interpretive programs, a market, gift shop, snack bar, deli, post office and laundromat.   The campground does not have RV hookups, but it does have an RV dump station.  The campsites are set among numerous Sequoia trees, with each campsite having a food locker, table, fire ring and grill. The restrooms have flush toilets.  Be sure to make your reservations early as this campground fills up quickly in the summer months.
