Dinkey Creek Campground Overview

Dinkey Creek Campground is large and spread out among a forest of beautiful Ponderosa pine and cedar trees located in the Sierra National Forest about 20 miles from Shaver Lake.  Some of the campground is located along the banks of Dinkey creek and the terrain offers spectacular mountain scenery and a great place to relax.  Outdoor activities include fishing, hiking, biking, photography, backpacking, and wildlife viewing.  The campground has 123 single-family campsites, a small camp store and lunch counter.  Pay showers are available and the campground has flush and vault toilets.   Each campsite has a food locker, table, fire ring and grill.  There is also an RV dump station and picnic area at the campground.
