Choinumni Recreation Area Campground is a large and spread out campground located on the banks of the King’s River in the Western Sierra Nevada foothills.  The campground has 75 single family campsites that are fairly large and set among a nice forest of oak and cottonwood trees.  This campground is first-come, first-serve and fills up fast during the summer months.  In addition to fishing, outdoor recreation activities include boating, kayaking, canoeing, biking, hiking and wildlife viewing.  The campground also has a picnic area and playground.  Each campsite has a table, fire ring and grill.
