Chilcoot Campground Overview

Chilcoot Campground is one of several in the Frenchman Lake area of the Sierra Nevada mountains.  The campground is located at 5,600 feet among a grove of cottonwood and pine trees.  Frenchman Lake is located nearby and Little Last Chance Creek flows right through the campground.  Outdoor recreation includes boating, fishing, swimming, water sports, hiking, biking, winter sports and wildlife viewing. The campground has 39 campsites, vault and flush toilets. Each campsite has a table, fire ring and grill.
