Buckeye Flat Campground Overview

Buckeye Flat campground is a beautiful campground located in the western Sierra along the banks of the middle fork of the Kaweah River. The campground sits among a stand of large oak trees offering plenty of shade to many campsites.  This is a popular campground for fishing enthusiasts and will fill up fast on the weekend.  It’s also within an hour drive of some big Redwood trees and the area offers many other outdoor recreation opportunities including hiking, biking, photography, and wildlife viewing.  Be sure to check out some impressive pictographs at Hospital Rock! The campground has water, restrooms with flush toilets, a dump station and a picnic area.  Each campsite has a table, grill and fire ring.
