Big Pine Creek Campground Overview

Big Pine Creek campground sits in a spectacular alpine canyon in the eastern Sierra.  This campground is fairly small (29 sites) and sits at an elevation of 7,600 feet.  The campsites are set among a nice forest of Jeffrey Pine, Aspen and Cottonwood trees.  Big Pine creek flows through the campground and offers some good fishing.  The campground is also a jumping off point for backpackers climbing up to the Palisade range (with several 14,000 foot peaks).
